Chinoiserie, one of the Scalamandre brand’s design hallmarks, is an eighteenth and nineteenth Century European style which depicts highly decorative, fanciful scenes from ancient China. Today, chinoiserie has had a strong resurgence of popularity, adding a colorful and decorative element to a modern interior. Nanjing, is drawn with delicate detail, featuring pagodas, exotic flowers, and whimsical figures.
Pillow Cover is 100% handmade, designed and created with attention to details.

-Scalamandre High End Cotton Fabric.
-Solid BLue linen fabric is on the back of the pillow.
-Cotton Rope Trim Made in USA.
-Zipper installed on the bottom of the back side.
-All edges are serged to prevent fraying.
-Pillow Insert is Optional. Pillow Inserts are 10/90 Down/Feather.
-Machine wash in cold water with mild detergent.
-Air dry only.

The pillow is very well made and the fabric is beautiful. I got a generously sized swatch in advance of ordering the pillow so I knew that it would be just right for the room where I wanted to use it. I didn't realize that the other side of the pillow would have a different, solid color fabric, but that is fine.
